Hollywood

Mom.. If I lived in Hollywood, I would call people "dawling" all day. Paige said this to me as we got dressed up for a Hollywood party.

Addiction

Abby asked me today if I was "Addicted to Michael Jackson". I told her I liked him alot when I was younger but her is dead now. "Why?" she asked. Too many drugs, I told her. She responded with.."mom.. what's a drug?"

Pierced Ears

Abby begged to get her ears pierced. So I caved. She got them done today and was so happy when she saw them in the mirror. She never wavered in her decision. I was so proud of that. I think that's why I let her at 5 years old. I told her she had to clean them every day and keep them in. Now at bedtime, she just looked at me and told me, "I'm ready to take the earrings out now". Yikes. She has to keep them in for 6 weeks!!

Dressing Room

We were in Justice to get a gift for Paige's friend. Abby went into the changing room to play and almost started to cry. I opened the curtain and asked, "sweetheart, what is wrong?" She told me, "I just want to buy something for me from a store with a dressing room". I folded big time .. Nearly wanted to cry from the cuteness. So ofcourse I bought her something. (Thank goodness everything was 40% off!)

2nd grade

Today was the last day of school for Paige. When I picked her up she told me, "After today, I magically become a 2nd grader! My teacher told me that something just magically happens! So yup, now I'm a 2nd grader!" Indeed you are Paige.
