Impossible??

Paige had such a wonderful teacher for 2nd grade. She recently told me that he told the class that nothing is impossible. We talked about what that meant. I want my girls to do good work in their lives that they love and to be true to themselves. That there are endless limits to what they can do in and with their lives. She looked at me and said, "Well it would be impossible to turn a girl into a boy!" .... Ugh.. A WHOLE 'nother conversation began.

Baggage

We went on vacation last week and we were waiting for our luggage. We got it and proceeded to our shuttle to the hotel. All was quiet and dark in he van. Quietly Abby whispered to me," Is that thing our luggage was on called a convesterville?" She was referring to the conveyer belt, and I let her know. It almost makes me think that the girls must put so much thought into their questions before they ask them!

libraries

Paige's out of the blue comments are truly some of my favorites. AS we were driving hoe from the pool the other day, she tells me, " I bet there are two ways you can get hurt in a library; running and papercuts." Well you can't argue with that!
