Our mornings are hectic. I wake everyone else up at 6:30am. I try to make it a happy time and I think it is becomin evident. As I was helping Abby pick out her clothes, she simply stopped, looked at me and stated, "All I have to do is be Abby and I know the day will be good". I loved it.. but then part of me wanted to tell her... Abby that listens and uses manners.. But I kept it to myself. I was too thrilled about hearing a 6 year old want to be herself. LOVE THAT.

BOYFRIEND

"That man has a beard. Is he Amish?"-Abby was dying to ask me this question about a friend of ours.

RED HAIR

As we were driving home from the cousins today, Abby said (randomly), "I couldn't take care of a puppy. They squeal when you drop them". Believe her, because she has dropped many a puppy to sad little squeals. Brad replied, "I dropped you when you were a baby and you squealed". (silence.....) "OH!!" Paige said, "You dropped her!? So THAT'S why she has red hair!!"
