THANKSGIVNG

Yesterday we had thanksgiving at my house. Three days after the actual day. We were in the car and Abby tells us, "this time of year always makes me think of Grandma Little". Abby was 2 1/2 when Grandma died at the age of 84. She speaks of her ALL th time.

DIVORCE

Divorce coversations must be goin around school and on the gils' minds. Many statements are made that start with, "If you ever get divorced..." Yesterday, Abby tod me, "You are the BEST mom ever.. and you stil will be even if you ever get divorced. I mean, I know you aren't.. but just if." "And if you do, I think I might want to live with Daddy or else I would not get high fives at soccer games. But you would still be the best mom". OK yes.. my heart broke and we had a little talk, Abby and I. The entire conversation still weighs on my mind.

PARTY ANMAL

We were coming home from Thanksgiving dinner when Abby tells me, "Mom, when I am in college, in another state, I might not come home to see you for Thanksgiving, because I will be going to parties until TEN O'CLOCK!" I proceded to tell her, "In college you don't got OUT until 10 o'clock".

Grow Up!

Abby put her pajamas on backward. She walked up to Paige and said, "Look I switched the buttons on this.. I sewed it". Paige looked at me expecting me to correct Abby. I told her, "Yup.. she sewed it all new and by herself." Paige told me laughing, "Mommy.. I think you are going to need to grow up and be an adult sometime". She is SOOO wrong. SOOOO wrong.
